Jeff Fouts: “Estate Planning Attorney Jeff Fouts here. I’m going to give you a statistic that almost sounds like I’ve made it up. Here it is. Sixty five percent (65%) of all people in America die without an estate plan.
You may say, “How in the world could that happen? Didn’t they know they were going to die?” Well, I guess they did, but they just couldn’t see their expiration date. Sixty five percent of all people die without an estate plan, and that is bad.
There is good news behind this, especially for men — I’m going to pick on you men out there. Men, if you die without an estate plan, you’ll never see the mess you leave behind that your wife or your children will have to deal with.
In other words, men, if you do not have a plan, it’ll be your wife and your children that will pay the emotional and monetary price for the confusion and mess you leave behind. Anyway, Jeff Fouts. If we can ever help you, give us a call. Thank you.”
